View Full Version : cloning GridPanel with small override???

I was provided this code earlier this week but couldn't find original post to reference it, so I will re-post this code here (slightly modified):

var grid = panel.cloneConfig({hideCollapseTool: true});

var win = new Ext.Window({
layout: 'fit',
maximized: true,

items: grid,
title: title,

listeners: {
close: function(){

This code is tucked inside a function that is invoked and passed a reference to several gridpanels I have displayed on a single display. The idea being that they can be opened independently as a full screen window for maximum viewing.

This works awesome so far, but the accordian headers with collapsible buttons are still present in the full screen view -- which while they don't causes issues -- they are unsightly and may confuse the user.

I have tried cloning the original gridpanel and overriding the hideCollapseTool but this seems to have no effect???

Anyone care to shed some light on this matter for me???

I tried your code; setting hideCollapseTool: true worked for me. What Ext version are you using? What settings does the original panel have? Is the original collapse tool being added (as you imply) by the owner having an accordion layout?
