hi ,

hw can i debugg the sencha touch apps .. as when the code size increases it is becoming difficult to identify where exactly it fails .. so am expecting there might be some specific debugging tool kind for the sencha touch apps .. and some people have said to install firebug .. bt how firebug is useful when we try on javascript or simply we can write the print statements in the code .. bt in the sencha apps hw can we do this ..

thanks in advance ..

use the sencha debug with comments. look inside that file and uncomment out the logging that you want.

you can also use your own logging inside your sencha app.

i personally use chrome - just turn on the developer tools and click the console. messages will appear in that area. you can also type javascript into the console to inspect what you are doing.

take a look at this as we http://pmuellr.github.com/weinre/
it allows you to debug the apps when running on your devices.

if everything is logging to the console you should be good.
