REQUIRED INFORMATION

Ext version tested:

Ext 4.0.2

Browser versions tested against:
I guess it happen in all browsers.

Chrome 10.x
IE8
FF3 (firebug 1.3.0.10 installed)
Safari 4

Description:

It's related with Ext.grid.Panel, after the grid is loaded, and there is data in the grid, if I call store.removeAll(); and then call store.add({}) next, it will throw an exception in the console.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
run below code, I just add it on the array-grid example, click the 'one' button at the bottom toolbar of the grid, and you will see an exception in console said 'initialId of undefined', I did a little digging, and I found it's because the gridView.all did not clear after the store.removeAll.
in grid view, there is a listener for store, something like: this.mon(store, {'clear':this.refresh});
so it maybe a problem in gridView.refresh.

foo
bar

The result that was expected:

no exception
foo
bar

The result that occurs instead:
Exception is occurred

foo
bar

This issue is resolved in 4.1.0, you might want to consider upgrading.

If not, you might try something like:

store.removeAll();
var view = grid.getView();
view.all.clear();
view.updateIndexes();
store.add(...);
