According to the documentation, I should be able to pass in useDisplay: true to the fadeOut function, but it doesn't seem to have any affect.

<html><head> <script type="text/javascript" src="/ext/v4/ext-all.js"></script></head><body> <div class="statusMessage" style="height: 200px; display: none; background-color: aqua; border: 1px solid black">Test Message</div> <div>Test Content After Message</div> </body></html>

Before calling the below code, the style on the element is:

element.style {
background-color: aqua;
border: 1px solid black;
display: none;
height: 200px;

}

I call the following JS code:

var messageObject = {tag: 'div', id: 'statusMessage', "class": 'statusMessage'};

var message = Ext.get(Ext.select('.statusMessage').elements[0]);

message.show();
message.fadeOut({easing: 'easeOut', duration: 2000, remove: false, useDisplay: true});

After calling the JS code, the style on the element is:

element.style {
background-color: aqua;
border: 1px solid black;
height: 200px;
opacity: 0;

}

The expected result is that ExtJS checks for useDisplay and sets the display back to none on completion of fadeOut
