View Full Version : By What Version Will MVC Be In Unity (ExtJS=Touch)

Can anyone tell me by what version can we use the same features in touch and extjs.

At the moment features (such as app directory) are different that SHOULD be the same on both builds?

What gives?

Will Ext ever be ONE library with extenders (eg JS, Touch, GWT, AIR)?

MVC is in Sencha Platform so it is shared between Ext JS 4.x+ and Sencha Touch 2.x+. Same for data package.

Little more of my point of view... ST1.x's MVC was the first stab at MVC... Ext JS 4.x improved upon it and a lot changed buy definitely for the better.

so until touch 2.x we should use hacks that replicate the extjs 4.x MVC?

Sencha Touch 2's MVC improved upon Ext JS 4's and much of the internals have been changed. It works mostly the same but syntax is different. Plus in ST2 you have profiles.

The control, refs, routes all are config items.

ST2 also uses the config object where Ext JS 4 doesn't really.
