Hi All,

Anyone have any knowledge/experience in using code review tools to review javascript or ExtJS codes?

Do they even exist?

What do you mean by code review? There's JSLint which is a static code analysis tool similar to PMD. I develop in IntelliJ IDEA which does javascript syntax error checking and some basic coding error detection as you type.

Thanks for your reply!

To be more specific, perhaps a tool that I run that checks through the entire set of JS files I wrote and then advices things like complexity, hazardous implementation, unnecessary declaration, etc... very much like PMD.

In that case, I shall look at JSLint.

Any other tools that you might have in mind and has experience with?

JSLint seems to point to alot of syntax and declaration errors.

I'm looking at tools that deals with the "quality" of the JS codes, whether its efficient, complexity, etc...

Are there any tools that observes the "quality" of the JS codes and give recommendations for the observations?

Yes, JSLint is rather superficial. I'm afraid I'm not aware of anything that does deeper analysis.
