Hi everyone, I'm having problem with the reference to the class BaseModel, it seems that my application is not reference it well...However the eclipse editor does not complain with any error...here is my class:

public class User extends BaseModel implements IsSerializable{
private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L;

public User() {

public User(String userName) {
set("userName", userName);

public String getUserName() {
return (String)get("userName");

public void setUserName(String userName) {
set("userName", userName);

When I try to compile it says: /media/Trabajo/daynier/desarrollo/code/Linux/Application/Application/src/java/cu/desoft/mvpArchitecture/client/entitiesDTO/User.java:7: cannot find symbol [groovyc] symbol: class BaseModel

I'm using this class in a grails service... but I dont think this is the source of the problem, I do have the gxt library in my classpath and a reference to it in my gwt model ....could anyone tell what is happening?????? Thanks in advance.

Please use code tags when posting code (# button on the editor toolbar).

I'm afraid you've posted in the wrong place. This forum is for ExtJS 4, not GXT.
