Simple question : Has anyone managed to get the splash screen working on Android?
I've tried ext.setup parameters

-> phoneStartupScreen - String - Startup screen to be used on an iPhone or iPod touch. The image must be 320x460 and in * portrait orientation.

I have also tried adding mets tags, but all I can find are iPhone specific. Are there specifics about the *.gif file that may prevent this working?

<!doctype html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8" />

<meta name="viewport" content="user-scalable=no, width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0"/>
<meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-capable" content="yes" />

<meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-status-bar-style" content="black" />
<link rel="apple-touch-startup-image" href="TSplash.gif" />

<script src="sencha-touch.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<link href="sencha-touch.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

<script type="text/javascript">

new Ext.Application({
launch: function() {
new Ext.Panel({
fullscreen : true,
html : 'Hello World_7!'
});
}
});
</script>
</head>
<body></body>
</html>

As far as I know, Android doesn't currently support the whole web app mode like iOS does, with the custom launch icon, splash screen, and app running full screen. From what I've seen, you have to do a native app wrapper to get that, which is a shame.

I'd love it if someone would prove me wrong on that. :D
