Hello,

I am trying to change the background colour of the html editor.
I was able to change the background colour by changing the css file but the first line of the editor is still in white.
I hope someone can help me.

.x-html-editor-wrap
{
border-color:#abc;

background-color: Green
}

Thanks,

hi, had the same issue with ExtJs4 by using a textarea in a grid, had to leave the color to white, hopefully someone finds a solution..

At least I am not alone :)
Same problem exists on a normal textarea inside a panel.
I hope someone will come up with a fix.

OK...
Fixed it to 50% :)
I added this line to css:

textarea {background: White !important;

}

This solved my problem but it does not work in IE 9.0 (HTML editor is still white). Chrome is fine...

hi, thanks for the suggestion, in ExtJs4 and IE7 it works

txtTextarea = Ext.fly(rb).down('textarea');
txtTextarea.dom.style.color = 'yellow';
txtTextarea.dom.style.cssText += 'background: olive !important';

terrible color-combination, i know
