View Full Version : Moving code to Xcode 4 messes up the JSON reading in php

Hi there,

I've been working with Sencha Touch for about 2 months, and I've been really stuck a couple of times - especially because the documentation is a little sparse in my opinion. This time I really don't know what else to do so I've decided to post here in case anyone else has run into this and knows a solution.

My code is pretty straightforward. I have a NestedList, a TreeStore and Model.

This code works perfectly fine for my Android app and my Web application. When I moved the code to Xcode 4, the app works, but the JSON data does not load.

I should mention my JSON data is valid (using jsonlint.com) and it is generated using PHP.

I've been running around my own tail trying to figure out how to trick the Xcode simulator into loading my data. I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation, I just can't seem to find it.

Any ideas or any people out there who are in the same situation?

Edit: I found the problem - it was caused by PhoneGap. I had to add my url to Supporting Files -> PhoneGap.plist so it wouldn't get whitelisted.
