I'm using Sencha only for grid with sorting and filtering.
After deployment my app-all.js is 550KB, is it a normal dimension ? I have serious problems of slowness with application on external server and https !

Thanks

have you looked in the jsb3 file what classes you have, I think is too big. A solution could be to crop it more by removing unneeded classes from the jsb3 file, but I'm sure there's possible in a more automized way to build only what you used from the framework, haven't played yet with this problem.

I'm considering the possibility that in my application the app-all.js be almost 5mb.We are analyzing the possibility of creating an interface for our ERP using ExtJS.The problem is the number of models, controllers and views for the system. We have 350 tables.Thinking quickly we would have 350 controller,350 views and 350 models. If it all together in the app-all.js will give a 5mb:(

That worries me.

You can have one controller for a few views....

Have many controllers have done the trick?
Were you able to use only one?

Using controllers is the best way to architect an app. There are many ways to minimise the app size, like using abstraction, inheritance, mixins, util methods, re-using code as much as possible, require from framework only what's needed.
