Dear All,

We are working on the application, which similar to that of the slide show. In this we want to show the images which are kept outside the server, there fore, we cannot create reference to the image file which is inside the server. Looking around, we come across the concept of inline images. So therefore, we would like to know if there is any such thing supported by ExtJS 3.3.

It will be of help if some one can share code/concepts etc.

Thanks in advance.

With Regards,
Rahul Saley

I don't get it, what can't you do? Are you just wanting to have a div with a background image or an img with the src as an image on a different domain?

Thanks for looking at this post. However, sorry for not being clear. Trying to phrase it differently. Normally we will be giving URL of the image to the Image tag, however that is not possible. The need is to write the image bytes from the server to the ExtJS Components. The reasons to do that are
1. The images are to be shown to the authorized users only.
2. The images are out side the server setup, however on the same machine. Therefore, we cannt create a URL to that image.

Somewhere on the internet, I have read abt the inline images, so wanted to see if any thing like this exists into EXTJS and how it works.

Hope this helps.

Thanks in advance.
