Hi,
I would like to know, whether it is possible to combine Sencha Touch and Wink toolkit (http://www.winktoolkit.org/). So if you write an App can you use both Sencha Touch and Wink toolkit in this app?

Hi.
why you want to mix these frameworks.
Sencha Touch is more forward than winktoolkit so why you want to do that?
Don't you think that using two difference UI in your app would be a big error in terms of usability?

Hope this helps.

So the components for graphical user iterfaces provided by sencha touch are not iPhone specific components (like other small frameworks like jQ Touch provide)? Sencha touch has its own style, is this correct?

PS: I want to know this, because I have to write a short term paper about frameworks
Thank you for your answers

That's not correct.
Sencha Touch provides UI component, animations, etc. that are really near to the native components.
In addition, it allows you to create custom themes for your applications and components, using the latest technology in terms of innovation like SASS and COMPASS that allows you to customize your entire application just by changing one line of code.

Hope its clear :)

My last question:
So you can build native-looking iOS GUIs with Sencha Touch.
But can you also build native-looking GUIs with Sencha Touch for Andorid and BlackBerry OS?

The framework is about modern HTML / CSS / Javascript with a focus that started on Webkit. So the basic GUI built in Sencha Touch works in these browser type environments. Statement on Sencha Touch front page: "It's currently compatible with Apple iOS 3+, Android 2.1+, and BlackBerry 6+ devices." It also works great while testing the GUI in Google Chrome and Apple Safari too.
