Hi,

We are still using ExtJS 3.2.1 in a large project and we started having issues with grid cells not wrapping correctly.

The problem is that, when the content is wider than the cell, instead of "ellipsis" (as it used to work), is overflowing vertically, increasing the height of the whole row.

I have checked the styles for the cells and "text-overflow" is "ellipsis", but is not working as expected. We have observed the issue only in IE8 and IE9. Chrome and FF work fine ( of course...)

Any suggestions will be extremely welcomed.

Thanks

Ext JS 3.2.1 does not support IE9... Ext JS 3.4.0 is the only release that supports IE9.

Ext JS 3.2.1 does not support IE9... Ext JS 3.4.0 is the only release that supports IE9.

We were using 3.4.0 but were forced to rollback to 3.3.3 due to problems with IE9/SharePoint and Drag Drop as referenced in this issue: http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?154389-Drag-and-drop-bug

Not sure why Sencha says they support 3.4 with IE9 when in that issue your response was... "Thank you for the report but development on Ext JS 3.x is not as high of a priority as 4.x is being highly developed on." Does that mean you'll be fixing the drag/drop bug for 3.4.0?
