Hey guys,
Are the events on Ext.Window considered to be operational? I'm talking Ext 2.0 Beta1.

Subscribing to close (and a number of others) doesn't seem to fire anything when the x is clicked etc.

Are activate an deactivate to do with window focus?

Regards

The close button calls the close method when clicked which does this:

close : function(){
if(this.fireEvent("beforeclose", this) !== false){
this.hide(null, function(){
this.fireEvent('close', this);
this.destroy();
}, this);
}
},

I would imagine that you have something wrong with your code -- if you can post a test case we'll take a look.

Activate/deactivate have nothing to do with focus -- they are specific to Ext window management. If you call Window.setActive(boolean) it will fire the appropriate event. The docs for these events are inherited, so the wording is currently generic. I will update the Window docs to make this more clear.

Thanks guys.

It works just fine, as Brian states it is a problem with my code.

Are there events which fire for focus changes?

The activate and deactive events seem to be exactly what I want re focus changes.

Thanks again!
