View Full Version : 508 Accessible examples?

I'm taking a look at the GWT samples from an accessibility perspective and finding what seem to be pretty significant problems. For instance, when examining the 'Basic Grid' I see that every data row is its own table and there's no way to associate individual cells with their headers (the header being yet another table). Using NVDA 2011.2, cell values are read but there's no context. No row-by-row navigation. Yet the GWT product page says all components are 508 and ARIA-compliant. What am I missing?

Are there any examples that really demonstrate accessible interfaces or are these it?

Thanks for your comments.
