View Full Version : [2.0b1] Extra horizontal scrollbar in Portals example app

I changed the stock Portals example by giving the three columns fixed width of 300, 300, and 200 resepectively, rather than the 33% they're currently set to.

By resizing the page I've been able to cause the 3rd column to fall down to under the 2nd column. Presumably this is a CSS float issue

I've also seen an unnecessary horizontal scrollbar. It happens only when you drag a portlet into the 3rd column, which then becomes too long & causes a vertical scrollbar. At that time it also adds a horizontal scrollbar with a very small gap - probably the width of the vertical scrollbar? In this case my guess is that some measurement was taken before the scrollbars appeared...

Testing done in Firefox 2.0

I think it's just a bug on ColumnLayout. It sets the inner wrapper width too narrow, and forces the floated column divs to wrap.

Animal,

could you please verify if this is a valid bug?
