using jquery functions

Hi, is there a way to use j query together with ext Core? I do really need the animate and toggle function! Or can I use ext Core instead of? If I can use ext Core how does it work? I've searched in the documentation, but found nothing. I've already tried the tutorial from j query to use ext Core with j query together. Thanks a lot for answers...
