View Full Version : Using grid with "joined data" store

Hey guys,

I have a grid working properly where I display some data from one mysql table. The API/PHP document that delivers the data is handwritten.

Now I am joining another SQL table on the first one and can correctly display the joined data as it is added to my local store as data field.

Ext.define('Range', {
extend: 'Ext.data.Model',
fields: ['id', 'idlocation', 'range', 'subnet', 'gateway', 'firewall', 'type', 'ssid', 'password', 'short']

"short" is the field which is dynamically joined. Now when I edit/add a row, the "short" field is also submitted via store.sync() to the backend... and the SQL database is crying because the field is not in the same table as the rest...

Is there a smooth way to cut the last field? Or is it possible that this "field" can hold two values like "name" and "id" at the same time, like a combobox?

On your backend you need to handle it
