View Full Version : Expand-and-click-split-button-with-Selenium

Need help/advice here. I posted this one on the 23rd but never got any responses. Here is the summary:

Expand and click split button with Selenium

I've tried everything I can think of here to expand my split button menu (http://www.objis.com/formationextjs/lib/extjs-4.0.0/docs/api/Ext.button.Split.html) and click on sub-items with Selenium. I've read every help article I can find on the matter and nothing is working. I'm using XPATH and CSS select due to the auto-generated Id's (different every page load).

Resources I've looked at so far (none have worked or helped):
1) http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthre...ck-on-TreeItem (http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?74136-Selenium-Click-on-TreeItem)
2) http://wiki.openqa.org/display/SIDE/...+assert+Ext+JS (http://wiki.openqa.org/display/SIDE/record+and+assert+Ext+JS)
3) www.sencha.com%2Fblog%2Ftesting-ext-js-ext-gwt-applications-with-selenium&ei=d4cdT7vwHurq2AXox5nmAQ&usg=AFQjCNHj8UewbklfNK30U7Sfu-T_XJMbTw (http://www.sencha.com%2Fblog%2Ftesting-ext-js-ext-gwt-applications-with-selenium%26ei%3Dd4cdt7vwhurq2axox5nmaq%26usg%3Dafqjcnhj8uewbklfnk30u7sfu-t_xjmbtw/)

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We've tried everything we can think of here and no dice. I've got it to where it can find the button but can't click and expand it...the down arrow of the split button is what actually expands it (inside and em tag). I can get it to focus on it, just can't get it to fire and open the menu...
