I am using an object of type com.extjs.gxt.ui.client.widget.Window, and calling the setHeading method to set the header text. There are cases where the header text is longer than the window, and it wraps. The desire is to prevent wrapping. I have no control over the actual text (i.e. I cannot abbreviate it in any way), but I can truncate it. Hand-jamming a truncate seems a little simplistic, and I'd prefer to use styles if possible. I did try the white-space:no-wrap style, and that prevented wrapping. However, the header bar now extends beyond the width of the window. Any other style I've tried (overflow, text-overflow) does not get me what I want. I've also tried searching for the answer, but a search for "window header wrap" returns way too many irrevelant hits. Is it possible to do what I want? Thanks for any help!
