Hi,

I am having issues when packaging up for Android where the icon i specify in my packager.json file does not get used in the final apk file. Instead it defaults to a generic Android icon (the launcher one that displays on the device that is).

In the console output I get the following error:

Copy operation failed src=C:\Sencha\Projects\PPTouch\build\package//icon.png dst
=C:\Sencha\Projects\PPTouch\build\native//res/drawable-ldpi/icon.png
Copy operation failed src=C:\Sencha\Projects\PPTouch\build\package//icon.png dst
=C:\Sencha\Projects\PPTouch\build\native//res/drawable-mdpi/icon.png
Copy operation failed src=C:\Sencha\Projects\PPTouch\build\package//icon.png dst
=C:\Sencha\Projects\PPTouch\build\native//res/drawable-hdpi/icon.png

And here is my packager.json config:

{
"applicationName":"Pinpointers Touch",
"applicationId":"sbs.pinpointers.pptouch",
"versionString":"1.0.1",
"iconName":"icon.png",
"inputPath":".",
"outputPath":"build/",
"configuration":"Debug",
"platform":"Android",
"deviceType":"Universal",
"certificatePath":"C:/Keystore/pinpointers-debug-key.keystore",
"certificateAlias":"pinpointers",
"sdkPath":"C:/AndroidSDK/android-sdk",
"androidAPILevel":"7",
"orientations": [
"portrait",
"landscapeLeft",
"landscapeRight",
"portraitUpsideDown"
]
}

Any ideas what this could be down to?

solved

change
"iconName":"icon.png", to "iconName":"resources/icons/Icon.png".

It works.

changed the iconName to the full relative path and got rid of the copy error for me.
