Hi All,

I am new to ExtJs and I have to implement infinite scrolling in ExtJS. I have gone through following link: http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-0/#!/example/grid/infinite-scroll.html

While some of you might find this URL sufficient to start your implementation, I am hoping if there are more useful resources available on implementing infinite scrolling. Kindly share them.

Scenario:
I am using SQL server analysis service to execute query. The query can return huge data (30-40 columns and 50000 records). I don't want to use paging in my query as it will reduce the performance of the query.

I want to understand:
1) What is the best approach to display such huge data. (I will consider paging as an option only when my query returns the whole data into some store and that store supports paging.)
2) How does infinite scroll grid maintains this data. Does it maintains this data at some location and queries the data as we scroll?
3) Is there any ways to cache this data?

Please feel free to suggest any implementation.

Thanks in adavce

Hey Chramer,

Thank you for your reply. But I am using ExtJS 4.07 framework and I am looking towards implementation not optimization. But thank you for your help.
