Hi,

I'm using navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition() api to determine the current GPS co-ordinates. I'm calling this API after I've received 'deviceready' event.

Whenever I run my PhoneGap based app on iOS 5.x, I'm getting to see a default location services alert saying "'<AppName>' would like to use your current location" with 'Don't Allow' and 'Ok' buttons.

Is there a way to avoid this default location services alert that is thrown by web view of iOS 5.x?

Could someone please help me get past this problem?

I'm using PhoneGap 1.3.0 for my app.

Thanks,
Prem

There is no way to prevent that popup. That popup will allow your app to use Geolocation
