Hello!

In all stuff made by YUI-EXT we found this script included in the page

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://us.js2.yimg.com/us.js.yimg.com/lib/common/utils/2/utilities_2.1.0.js"></script>

I'm wondering what if this script has it's path changed????

Can anyone explain what does it do???

Thanks!

Ved

Those are the basic yui utilities wich jacks has permission to use from their server.
This is only for him as a kind of donation from YAHOO and is not meant to be used by others.

If you however want to use them, you can download them from:
http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/.

yui-util.js is the only file from the YUI library you need. This file contains only the DOM, Event, Animation, Connect and Drag Drop (wich jack btw rewrote almost completely) utilities wich is the least you need to use Ext.

Good luck!

Hello Tommy, thanks for your answer!

So, even including yui-ext.js do I have to include yui-util.js in my app???

Yeah sorry, thats what i meant. i renamed utilities.js to yui-utils.js but indeed utilities.js is the only file from YUI you need in order to use yui-ext.
