Dear friends,

Does anyone know how to call a method defined in an ASPX page using ExtJS?

I am using ExtJS grid panel and need to implement paging. However, I am not not familiar with the process of calling a method written in an ASPX page using either AJAX call or some other way from ExtJS.

From my research, I have an undertsanding that I need to use proxy and then specify parameters such as AJAX. However, I am unable to find how to make a call to a method defined in an ASPX page.

Here's the code snippet.

//create data store
var inventoryUnsoldStore = Ext.create('Ext.data.store', {
pageSize: 10,
model: 'DataModel',
proxy: {
type: 'ajax',
url: '../InventoryDetail.aspx/InventoryData',
reader: {
type: 'json'
}
},
autoLoad: true
});

Hello,

No one has responded to this question as yet.

Does anyone know how to do this? I believe, it's a pretty common scenario.

Thanks,
Sunny
