View Full Version : State management on ExtJS grid inside ASPX web Page

Hello,

I have a grid inside an aspx page(ASP.NET).

I am using

stateful : true,
stateId : 'stateVehGrid',

so that if my user has hidden any column or has filter any data,
they will be preserved between reloads,

but somehow the reload shows all columns and all unfilter data.

I have a mainstore which is used by grid, which is not autoload but have a code which loads that store and inturn the grid data.

Is there anything on client side to check postback
like we have Page.IsPostBack in ASP.NET?

Please reply what to do,

Thanks,
Shehul

Does the following example work for you?
http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/ext-4.1.0-gpl/examples/grid/array-grid.html

I can refresh and it maintains my changes.

Scott.

Hi Scott,

With lot of testing I found the culprit is the selection model on the grid,

and I think this is the bug with ExtJS (even in 4.1).

Try adding check box model to the grid and see state management works or not. This issue you can get by just modifying the example link (array grid ) example and has nothing to do with ASP.NET.

I will raise this as a bug in ExtJS Bug forum.

Thanks,
Shehul
