Hi everyone,

Ouch... - Ext 3 to 4 was painful! 4.0.7 to 4.1 was even more painful - so i cannot imagine how crazy you have to be to start a migration like this ;)

you may try to migrate to ext 3 at first (and look up the errors) and then use the migration guide from 3 to 4 or 4.1...

but everything depends on how much code you have written in ext 1.

So like you said migrating from extjs 1.0 to 3.0, how can i do it? any tutorial or materials i can refer to ? the previous system has been developed and used for yrs since 2006 i reckon, is that possible to migration from old one to a higher version as in i've only seen migration from 3.0 to 4.0?:-/

I wouldn't attempt a upgrade. It would be a total rewrite for sure and I'd go straight for 4.1.
Good luck, but hey, you get to use all the cool MVC stuff.

If I remember correctly, there was no upgrade path from v1 to v2... the layout system was completely different?
