View Full Version : Collapsible pane in border layout:l header doesn't get removed when re-expanded.

I have noticed that collapsible panels in border layouts do not have their placeholder properly removed once re-expanded by clicking the title.

Try this example, collapse the east region and re-expand it by clicking on the title bar. It works properly if you click the expand button so that could be the problem? It seems like it shouldn't expand at all this way unless titleCollapse is set to true.

Ext.application({ name: 'HelloExt',
launch: function() {
Ext.create('Ext.container.Viewport', {
layout: 'border',
items:[{
region: 'center',
title: 'Center Region'
},{
region: 'east',
title: 'East Region',
collapsible: true,
width: 200
}]
});
}
});

Anyone else run into this?

I am using 4.1 in Chrome, but I noticed the issue in IE8 as well.

When you expand using the header, it is like a 'preview'. If you click on the center region it will collapse. If you expand with the button, it is sticky. This is by design.

Ah ok, I see now, thank you.

I also found that setting "floatable:false" disables this behavior and forces the user to fully expand the panel to view it.
