Note: this is not a duplicate thread. I had posted this question before and answered myself, but after deleting cache it is not working, so I am reopening this thread.

Hi All,

I am getting below specified encoding warning after submitting my form. I am using below code to submit my form, I submit the form details and then redirect to other page using spring MVC.

Ext.onReady(function() {

var simple = Ext.create('Ext.form.Panel', {
url : formUrl,
frame : true,
standardSubmit : true,
renderTo : Ext.getBody(),
title : 'Login Form',
bodyStyle : 'padding:5px 5px 0',
width : 350,
fieldDefaults : {
msgTarget : 'side',
labelWidth : 75
},
defaultType : 'textfield',
defaults : {
anchor : '100%'
},

items : [{
fieldLabel : 'admin Id',
name : 'adminId',
allowBlank : false,
emptyText : 'admin Id'
}],

buttons : [{
text : 'Save',
handler : function() {
var form = this.up('form').getForm();
form.submit();
}
}, {
text : 'Cancel'
}]
});
// simple.render(document.body);
simple.getEl().center();
});

Not sure whether anyone can read the warning in image, it says like this : "A form was submitted in the windows-1252 encoding which cannot encode all unicode characters, so user input may get corrupted. To avoid this problem, the page should be changed so that the form is submitted in the UTF-8 encoding either by changing the encoding of the page itself to UTF-8 or by specifying accept-charset=utf-8 on the form element. "I have already added the below line in my JSP page where I am calling above mentioned JS code.So, what should I do to avoid the warning ? Plz help.Thanks.J.M.37825

I think this is a Firefox issue or are you receiving this error in other browsers as well?

Well, not really. I had received below warnings after I checked the app in chrome. After I added the required lines in my js, the warning got disappeared in Firefox. It's kinda weird. Anyway, Thanks for the information.
