View Full Version : event after tree node expanded

19 Sep 2012, 3:18 PM
Have a tree loads dynamically each time user expands a node. After the node is expanded some task needs to be done. However, I could not find the event that will fire after the tree finish rendering the new nodes. afterrender dose not fire on these dynamic nodes and itemexpand fires before the nodes are ready. Does anyone know an event that is fired after the nodes are ready? thanks.

You can listen to 'itemexpand' event. See more information here: http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-1/#!/api/Ext.tree.Panel-event-itemexpand

thanks for your quick reply. However, the itemexpand event is fired when the item is expanding, not when the child nodes are render. The results is that the child nodes are not ready. What I need is something close to afterrender but fired after child node is rendered.
