Hello,

I have a tree, and the nodes have a long text that exceeds the width of panel.
A horizontal scrollbar was automatically generated because of it.

Is there a way to prevent this?
I want to use ellipsis instead.
I've tried setting forceFit: true, but it did nothing.

Thanks

Please see the following:

The other option is to use One would be to use the css text-overflow, but not supported in all browsers:

Thanks for the response Scott.
It seems I don't have sufficient privilege to access the thread you mentioned.

I finally manage to achieve this by using headerless TreeGrid.
As we can see on this official example (if we resize the treecolumn, then it will show ellipsis):

That is what was detailed in the thread ;)

Glad you got it working!
