View Full Version : Can you have a sencha page longer than the browser window?

This is probably a really simple question, but is it possible to have a sencha program with a window longer than the browser window, and allow the browser to handle the scrolling natively?

Currently the viewport seems to be limited to the size of your browser window, and all containers scroll inside this.

Ideally I'd like to be able to specify containers to be of various heights, and allow the browser to handle any overflow below the bottom of my screen. If this is possible, how would I go about doing it? All the examples I've seen online (including the Sencha documentation) have the wrong sort of scrolling behaviour.

Thanks!

The point of the "viewport" is to size to the viewable area of the browser window. If you don't want to limit your content to that area, then don't use a viewport.

Golly, I *have* been foolish. Thanks!
