Hi Experts,

Now I am using Ext 4.1.0 and facing to a tough problem to implement a fixed summary row in a grid. It has nothing to do with grouping. It is just a pure summary row for numeric sum statistics and supports horizontal scrolling (sync position with columns)

Currently the summary row supported by Ext 4.x is always located at the end of the whole grid, so you have to scroll vertically to the end to watch it. If you have 50,000 rows, user experience will be not accepted.

I searched in this forum, and it seems some solutions or plugins for Ext 3.x and Ext 2.x. So wondering whether solution for Ext 4.0.

Thanks very much for any tips or suggestions.

This will be available in 4.2

Configure a summary feature with dock: 'bottom' and a summary row will be docked to the bottom of the grid.

Then it will be a great feature supported by Extjs 4.2.

By the way, what is the official release date for Extjs 4.2? I think many developers look forward to it .
