It's common that framework like Ext JS include this widget, see: http://smartclient.com/#_Calendars

Ext JS has a calendar component that we support. Any others would be an extension and supported by the author.

My concern is that classes like Ext.calendar.data.CalendarModel referenced by http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-1/#!/example/calendar/index.html come from: GET /ext-js/4-1/extjs-build/examples/calendar/src/data/CalendarModel.js?_dc=1354239297123

Why not core already in Ext JS? You just told me Sencha support fully that class but we have seen Calendar missing in from Ext JS 3.x in Ext JS 4.0.x. So I'm looking for commitment.

The calendar that was created eventually for Ext JS 3 took some time from http://ext.ensible.com/ to port to Ext JS 4 which was finally ready for 4.1. We now include that example with the framework.
