I'm a freelance web developer and i wanted to know if i could use Ext framework in commercial web applications; i got a little confused about the dual licence, do i have to purchease a comercial license if i only want to make use of the framework?

Thank you.

You can use ExtJS in commercial applications as long as you don't break LGPL requirements.

The commercial license is used by companies that don't allow LGPL software on their systems.

ps. Buying a license or a support subscription is still a good way to support ExtJS.

i also have a question about ext license:

Open Source License

Ext is also available under the terms of the Open Source LGPL 3.0 license. You may use our open source license terms if you:

* Want to use Ext in an open source project that precludes using non-open source software
* Plan to use Ext in a personal, educational or non-profit manner

i don't understand if there is an AND or an OR between the two sentences above.
my project is non-profit but it is not open source (the server backend, written in php is not open source). can i use it anyway?
