I want to do the grouping in the grid panel for more than one field . Say for ex i want to do the grouping on department and designation for the employee grid. Means the employees who belongs to the same department and designation i want to display them in a single group .
i tried giving groupField:['deparment','designation']

groupField:{'deparment','designation'} but its not taking . please help me out on this .

Thanks in Advance

Grouping only allows for one level of grouping. You could add a field to your store with a convert function that concatenates these two fields and then group by that field.

Alternatively you can take a look and see if this multigrouping plugin works for you:

This worked really well for me. Pretty elegant workaround! Thanks!!! =D>:)
