View Full Version : Scrollable container with embedded youtube video (iframe)

I am having a strange issue with embedded videos in an iframe (e.g. youtube but happening with vimeo as well). If the video is at the top of a scrollable container it works fine. As soon as i put some content above the iframe, so that you have to scroll to see the video, it doesn't work anymore. It doesn't react at all as if it wouldn't receive any events. This is only happening on mobile Safari not on desktop browsers. I am assuming it has something to do with the CSS3 transformations, which are being applied when scrolling.

So I found this:

I am not sure if it really describes the same issue, but the mentioned fix couldn't be applied anyway due to the browser's crossdomain policies (content is loaded from another domain).

Here is my environment:

Sencha Touch 2.1
iPhone 5 w. iOS 6.1.2
Here's an example (make sure to open it with mobile Safari):

Here is the code for it on Github:

Any help or thoughts on this would be appreciated.

I have no idea how this ended up in the Ext QA .. it was supposed to be in the Touch QA.

I must have over read the title. SORRY!

Can an admin please move it to the Sencha Touch QA?
