REQUIRED INFORMATION

Ext version tested:

Ext 4.2.1 beta

Browser versions tested against:

Chrome
IE9

DOCTYPE tested against:

<!DOCTYPE html>

Description:

A chart series' edge label can be cut off. Seems I have noticed it with different types of series. Here I am providing you with a ScatterSeries test case.

Steps to reproduce the problem:

Just run the sample

The result that was expected:

"Item 02" edge label

The result that occurs instead:

"Item 0" edge label

Test Case:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>Chart series' edge label is cut off</title>

<link rel="stylesheet" href="../resources/css/ext-all.css" />

<script src="../ext-all-debug.js"></script>

<script>
Ext.onReady(function () {
var store = Ext.create("Ext.data.Store", {
autoLoad: true,
fields: [{
name: "x"
}, {
name: "y"
}, {
name: "label"
}],
data: [{
x: 0,
y: 0,
label: "Item 00"
}, {
x: 1,
y: 1,
label: "Item 01"
}, {
x: 2,
y: 2,
label: "Item 02"
}, ]
});

Ext.create("Ext.chart.Chart", {
renderTo: Ext.getBody(),
width: 300,
height: 300,
store: store,
axes: [{
type: "Numeric",
position: "bottom",
title: "X",
fields: ["x"]
}, {
type: "Numeric",
position: "left",
title: "Y",
fields: ["y"]
}],
series: [{
type: "scatter",
xField: "x",
yField: "y",
label: {
field: "label",
display: "over"
}
}]
});
});
</script>
</head>
<body>

</body>
</html>

Thanks for the report!
Looks like this is fixed in the latest 4.2.1 Nightly build.

I tested in Chrome, FF, Safari, and IE9.

Nice to hear, thanks! I will revisit it when a new ExtJS release appears.

Hello!

I've retested this issue and it seems to be fixed. Can you confirm it, please?

For what it's worth it looks good to me know using 4.2.1 GA.
