For single page app, I am thinking to remove the stores after it switched to new controller where it is no longer used. Any thoughts will be appreciated. I will be creating 10+ different views with 15 stores on each page approximately. I am trying to think for latency issues maintaining all those stores in memory so whether I should clean it up and load when needed instead of directly making part of controller load.

I've not heard of stores in memory causing issues. While you can certainly destroy them if you'd like where I've seen performance gains is removing components (clearing out items from the DOM) when they are no longer required.
