I've created a brand spankin' new Sencha 2.2 app using Sencha cmd v3.1.1.274. The app is generated and runnable in Chrome. All looks great. All of the demo functionality on the app is functional. The console in Chrome tools is clean. No errors reported.

However, Ext.Ajax is not included as part of the project. I discovered this when I tried to collect some data from a remote server using "Ext.Ajax.request" - to which the console reported:

Ext.Ajax.request TypeError: Cannot read property 'request' of undefined

I remedied the problem by including "Ext.Ajax" in the "requires" array.

What's up with that? Why is it not included as part of the baseline project? What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks

You are doing it correctly now that you are requiring Ext.Ajax
