View Full Version : Eclipse does not know about EXT variable

I purchased the complete package, installed the eclipse plugin, imported the VJET application. I create a new VJET project, and when I create a JS source file, the code hinting throws up on anything starting with EXT saying "variable not defined"

I am sure I must be doing something stupid, but am pulling out what little hair is left!

Help pls

Thanks
Bruce

Not sure if this is still a problem, but do you have any spaces in your path?

Here's a thread that might help:

Nope! I am on a MAC. There are no spaces in my workspace path (/Users/Bruce/Sites)

any more suggestions?

Filename with space wouldn't be a problem on a Mac. When you installed, did you follow the instructions in the Sencha_Eclipse_Plugin_InstallandUse.pdf that came with the plugin?

To the letter. I "AM" trying to edit an application that was generated via Architect. I will be happy to delete and start all over. Is there a recommended version of Eclipse that you would like me to download and start the process over with?

I would use the most recent versions: Sencha Complete 1.0.2, Sencha Eclipse Plugin 2.1.0. Is that what you already started with?
