Hi everybody.

I've just try the TreePanel and MultiSelectionModel and it works fine... but :

When you press the ctrlKey and then you click on a TreeNode in order to select it, the ctrl-click open a new tab in firefox. I think that the problem come from the following code

<div id="yddgen-7" class="x-tree-node-el x-tree-node-leaf">
<span class="x-tree-node-indent"/>
http://www.yui-ext.com/s.gif
http://www.yui-ext.com/s.gif
<a id="ext-gen45" tabindex="1" href="#">
<span id="yddgen-8" unselectable="on">GENS_VOYAGE_point</span>
</a>
</div>

The tag <a> get a HREF attribute set to '#' so the ctrl-click try to open the current page in another tab.

It is possible to replace href='#' by style="cursor:hand;cursor:pointer;"

It'll avoid the new tab and keep the hand on the item.

So it'll be very cool if you could do it.

Thanks for your hard work Jack.

The A is required for Opera and Safari which don't support focusing divs, spans etc. I may be able to suggest an alternate workaround.

I'm noticing the same thing. Anyone have a work around? Any way to capture the event?

I've also run across this issue; I'd rather not have to force my Firefox users to switch to IE7, for obvious reasons ;)

Was this issue ever addressed? I can't seem to find a solution in the forums and it still seems to be happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I have also just run into this issue, and as a result have unfortunately had to disable multi-select in all my trees, which is a pity.

Is this problem still present in Ext 2.0?

Is this problem still present in Ext 2.0?

Yes, it is.

Well, in 2.0 RC1 it does not happen with the CTRL-Key anymore :). Although pressing the shift-key while clicking opens a new browser-window...But the problem relayed on multiple selection with the ctrl-key, so i think this one is solved
