View Full Version : Columns in grid resize to equal width when I "show() a component

24 Sep 2013, 1:18 PM
I have a grid with a panel on the right.
When I expand the panel, I hide one of the fields in the grid.
When I collapse the panel, I show the field again, when I do this, the column widths all go back to equal size. I am attaching images showing what is happening.

Is this easily fixed?

I don't see any hidden column on 2nd screenshot.
I mean - I can see all columns from 1st and 3rd.
What happens if you just hide/show column without collapsing/expanding panel?

The "noSooner" date column (near the middle) is hidden. yes, I hide it when the panel expands then show it again when expanded, so it is back on the form on the 3rd image, but the column widths are all messed up. I didnt try it without expanding / collapsing, since that is the functionality I need.

You should try - this will help to narrow down potentially problem components set.

Very strange results. I went to the grid, I changed the property to hidden (so they would not show on the grid at all), saved it, then un-ticked the hidden property and uncommented the code to hide / show and it works FINE now. It already had the flex set to just one column, so I didn't make any change there.
