View Full Version : Has anyone done a navigatable Data Form Using REST?

Hello,

I am going to be building a data bound form using a REST proxy. It will have next record, prev, first, last, search navigation. It will allow deletions, updates and inserts.

It will also link to another form and a data grid on the same page to display linked records.

Has anyone done this already and can point me to a URL or send some code to help me learn how you did it? That would save me and I am sure many others some time and frustration.

I have done pieces of this before (various bound grids, populate form fields from database and such) but I have not done the navigation part or the subform stuff.

Thanks!
Brad

From my point of view navigation is better handled by grid rather then form. I would suggest to use a paging grid paired with form for selected record editing.
