Greetings,
I have a layout with a bunch of text fields. I want to display the dirty icon, similar to the edit grid, when the text field becomes dirty. I've added the "x-form-dirty" CSS, but no luck.

The section uses the "column" layout where I have 2 columns, 1 for the label and 1 for the text field (both seperate components) - I need to do it this way. After I review the HTML generated, I can see that the "x-form-dirty" css is being applied, but to a TABLE element, not the INPUT element.

{xtype:'textfield',id:'test1',value:'Public',columnWidth:0.29000000000000004}

CSS:

.x-form-dirty {
background-image:url("dirty.gif");
background-position:0 0;
background-repeat:no-repeat;
}

Anyone get the dirty indicator to work on standard ExtJS input fields?

Thanks,
Marcel

Try more specific selector, like
.x-form-dirty .x-form-text
