View Full Version : How to use purchased theme with existing application.

We have built an ExtJS 4.2.2 application that up to now has used the Gray theme.

We have purchased the Basic Theme and I have a question about how to apply it to our existing application.
https://market.sencha.com/extensions/basic-theme

When I go through the theming guide, it says to set up a workspace, and build an app to test the theme. But the test app folder structure seems embedded in the workspace folder structure.

Our existing app already has a folder structure that has been managed by a GIT repository for a while. So how can I use a theming workspace with an existing app, and have the Sencha CMD tool work with as little additional configuration as possible.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Did you get any details from the author on this? Can you place the theme in the packages DIR and change the setting in sencha.cfg to the new theme and build?

Also .. does 'sencha app refresh' help after updating config?

Thanks for your reply Scott. I'm somewhat new to theming in ExtJS. I figured there was a standard way to make use of custom themes. I'll use what you mentioned and see if that works.
