Hi,

I am displaying 4-5 grids together in a panel. I have several fields common in some of the grids (ex. "person_name" in grid 1 is used in grid 3 and grid 4 etc.). I have created a single store for all the columns.
Whenever I load the panel containing all the grids, it is taking too much time in displaying.
Any suggestion on how to reduce the display time???

How many records are you loading? How long is it taking?
Will the grids need their own store instance?

Hi,
There can be any number of records, means in grid 1 only one record (first_name, mid_name, last_name etc.), grid 2 can contain multiple records like (numbers in different subjects). And including all grids, there are approx. 150 columns.
My required time limit is 30 seconds but it is taking over 1 minute.
And when I am clicking on your given URL "http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?277496", it is saying that you don't have sufficient privilege to access this page. So please look into that. I am creating different instances of store for each grid.

Are you loading all 150 columns at once, and hiding the unused columns? This would be the reason for the delay.
Use reconfigure to display the columns that you want

Here are some examples:

Yes. I am loading all the columns at once. And yes, some fields are hidden. But your solution is surely seems to be helpful to reduce the loading time. Thanks.:)
