You'll actually need to include jQuery.js in your head along with the ExtJS jQuery Adapter (bundled in the adapter folder of ExtJS 3.x).

<script type="text/javascript" src="/js/jquery.js"></script>
<script src="/ext/adapter/jquery/ext-jquery-adapter.js"></script>
<script src="/ext/ext-all.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function() {
// your code here
});
</script>

Thanks!
Greg

The official download for Ext 3.4.1 from http://www.sencha.com/products/extjs3/download/ext-js-3.4.1.1/2192 has everything included. As said the jquery adapter can be found under ext-3.4.1\adapter\jquery then

unfortunately by some unknown reason the adapter files are stored twice within the Zip-file, so you will be asked if you want to override the previous file. Dont worry about that, the only difference as i can see is the added GPL header information on each file
