I have an application, working fine in IE9 but fail to be loaded in IE8.

try Ext JS 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 same error as:

Line: 21766
Error: Invalid argument.

Using different version Ext JS like ext-all.js, ext-all-debug.js, ext-all-debug-w-comments.js ext-all-dev.js, ext-rtl-debug.js to load, no detail information.

debug inside the ext-all-debug, sometime show setStyle with nanpx as value of a property, sometime show constructor with empty array.

Any help will be very appreciate!

That seems to be a pretty generic error message. Can you describe what your app does? Any chance you can post the code that is causing the error?

I got the same problem just today, just in another line.The problem I got is in ext-all-dev-.js line 21749, this is the code fragment:

47682

The problem I got is a bad rendering of a Window:

47683

Seems that the problem is hiding / disabling a combobox:

var me = this,
win = Ext.widget("zonewin"),
cbx = win.down("#countrycbx"),
rec = me.getGrid().getSelectionModel().getSelection()[0],
zoneId = rec.get("ZoneId"),
countryId = rec.get("CountryId"),
store = me.getZoneRegionsStore();

store.clearFilter(true);
store.addFilter({ property: "ZoneId", operator: "=", value: zoneId });

cbx.setVisible(false);
cbx.setDisabled(true);
win.setTitle("Editar zona");
win.down("form").loadRecord(rec);
win._CountryId = rec.get("CountryId");
win._new = false;
win.show();

Same on other windows that must hide comboboxes before show.

Definitely a incompatibility of ExtJS with IE8.

Please help!

Follow up:Changed the offending line (21749) to this:

try { style[hook.name] = value; } catch (e) { console.log(hook.name); }

And in the developer tools of IE I go t this:

47684

BTW those tools hang when I tried to debug with them :(

Gosh!

Why corporate customers don't use a browser other than IE!

BTW forum screens are failing on my iMac's Chrome (OSX 10.9.1 / Chome 32.0.1700.77)

Are you also using Architect, ssamayoa?

What kind of problem are you seeing with the forum pages?

Yes, 3.0.2

But I'm using custom index.html for development.

The included ext-all-dev.js is from v4.2.2.1144

Page problems:
Sometimes Image button doesn't work and when works only basic file uploader works.

Regards.

Have you found any working solution? I'm struggling with this issue right now and I'm pretty clueless...
